VMAC VR70:

  • Compressor Air End: It is required for the Compressor Air End to be installed on a truck engine as well as maintain a 100% duty cycle. The compressor will provide 70 CFM and 175 psi; however, a high temperature cut off switch must be incorporated on the compressor unit. A low profile integrated air inlet control valve will feature an oil fill port, an air pressure regulator and a dry type paper air filter. The compressor air end dimension should be no larger than 6” x 7” x 11-1/2” in size and a multi-groove drive clutch with a serpentine belt should be used. The air compressor should weigh no more than 46 lbs., including the air inlet valve.
  • Air Receiver Tank: The air receiver tank is acting as an oil/air separator with the necessary materials, high-grade aluminum with an integrated coalescing oil separator element. The receiver tank is required to have a lubricant sight glass no smaller than 1 1/2” in diameter and a 200 psi high pressure relief valve. It must also have a replaceable spin on a 25-micron oil filter with a safety bypass feature, and the tank must contain an 8 seconds or less integral pneumatically piloted blow down valve. The tank dimension must be no larger than 6” dia. X 31” long and cannot exceed 18 lbs.
  • Heat Exchanger: The heat exchanger must be liquid-to-liquid type and the overall dimensions should be no more than 4” x 3-3/4” x 9” in size and 17 lbs. in weight (without fluid).
  • Throttle Control: The throttle control needs to be an infinitely variable speed control, and it is required that the automatically modulate engine RPM equal the air demand. It is also essential that a vehicle Drive Disable Circuit (DDC) is included if the vehicle is outfitted with an automatic transmission and a park brake safety shut off switch.

The compressor air end dimension should be no larger than 7-1/2” x 9” x 13-3/4” in size and a multi-groove drive clutch with a serpentine belt should be used. The air compressor should not exceed more than 66 lbs., including the air inlet valve.
  • Air Receiver Tank: The air receiver tank is acting as an oil/air separator with the necessary materials, high-grade aluminum with an integrated coalescing oil separator element. The receiver tank is required to have a lubricant sight glass no smaller than 1 1/2” in diameter and a 200 psi high pressure relief valve. It must also have a replaceable spin on a 25-micron oil filter with a safety bypass feature, and the tank must contain a 15 seconds or less integral pneumatically piloted blow down valve. The tank dimension must be no larger than 8-3/4” dia. X 35” long and cannot exceed 37 lbs.
  • Heat Exchanger: The heat exchanger must be liquid-to-liquid type and the overall dimensions should be no more than 4-3/4” x 4-3/4” x 17” in size and 34 lbs. in weight (without fluid).
  • Throttle Control: The throttle control needs to be an infinitely variable speed control, and it is required that the automatically modulate engine RPM equal the air demand. It is also essential that a vehicle Drive Disable Circuit (DDC) is included if the vehicle is outfitted with an automatic transmission and a park brake safety shut off switch.
